My journey so far
I am currently designing for a tech company in the Bay Area as a UX/UI Designer. During this time, I have honed my skills in design principles and user experience. I'm proficient in design tools such as Figma, Invision, and Webflow, and have been growing my knowledge of development languages like HTML and CSS. My journey in UX started when clients I was working with had a hard time navigating our company site which led me to initiate a redesign of the site for the healthcare start-up. From this experience, I learned on my own the fundamentals of user experience, how to conduct user research, how to use Figma, and how to advocate for my designs. Not the most traditional route, but I'm ok with that. With my background in healthcare research and project management, I am driven to use my existing knowledge with design to tackle big questions like "How do I find reliable healthcare...How to experience a sense of belonging living in a new country?". As someone that continues to evolve as a person and a designer, I am excited to grow by taking on new experiences and problem space within design. A bit more about me...I am a college mentor! I love supporting students, especially during a time when there is so much newness. You can also find me tackling a new video project and jamming out. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or if you'd like to work together.
